Kayden Ramsay-Alexander is the athlete of the week during March 18th-22nd. Ramsay is a senior on the Varsity Volleyball team. Ramsay has been playing volleyball for 3 years. On game day, Ramsay’s pregame ritual consists of sitting in silence to get in the zone. When Ramsay isn’t sitting in silence before a game he loves to listen to Kanye.

Ramsay’s favorite memory playing volleyball is a tournament they had on a Saturday, his allergies were acting up really bad but Ramsay and the rest of the team pulled through. Ramsay’s inspiration to play volleyball is the sense of togetherness, unison and the willingness to be open to anyone. Ramsay loves to play volleyball because it’s super fast paced and it always keeps his mind moving and never has time for a break..

Ramsay plays setter, and outside hitter on the court, but in the classroom he’s even better. Ramsay’s favorite class is painting because he can express himself. Ramsay’s plans after high school consist of going to Rockhurst University where he will major in Biomedical Engineering and minor in Neuroscience.
