Hello my name is Janiya Fleming I am a senior at Hazelwood West High. I do three varsity sports here at West. Cross country, wrestling, and track. I enjoy spending my time exercising and going to practice. When I am not working out I spend my time helping out my school community. I am the vice president of student council and historian of National Honor Society which allows me to do fundraisers and raise school spirit. Along with this I am creative director for yearbook and working towards going to college for journalism and being a collegiate athlete. I believe in being a team player and showcasing my leadership skills in sports and clubs as well. I always want people to feel included which is why I am so excited to be a publisher here at West. I can not wait to share many students stories through my writing. I believe everyone has a story and a place here at West on and off the field, track,or mat. Go wildcats and lets have a great year!
