Hey! My name is Kaylie McCabe. I am currently a sophomore with a passion for both academics and extracurricular activities here at Hazelwood West High School. I played volleyball freshman year and softball this year. I am an active member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Pep Club. Outside of school, I have a keen interest in reptiles and enjoy knitting, which allows me to express my creativity. I currently work at Mattingly’s Sports Bar and Grill on Lindbergh, where I do expo and keno! After high school, I aspire to study pre-med to become a surgeon so I can make a difference in the lives of others. I am excited to be a part of the newspaper team because it offers me a platform to contribute my writing skills and unique perspectives, while also learning more about journalism.
