I was Hazelwood West High School’s first female representative at Missouri Girls’ State, where I got a true introduction to journalism. There, I realized that I do have a passion for journalism, but it follows more so to the broadcast area. Although I love journalism, my writing preferences lie more with the fiction writing of the fantasy, romance, and mystery genres. The same goes for my reading preferences, as I am an avid reader with the motto: so many books, so little time. I am also Thespian Troupe #786’s current historian. I absolutely love our theater department and love being a part of every aspect, from crew to acting to leading. I love the friendships and traditions that theater has given me.
