Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a student-led organization that provides members with the chance to enhance their leadership abilities and acquire essential life skills. Through participation in FCCLA, students focus on life planning, goal setting, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal communication. These skills are crucial for success both at home and in professional environments.
FCCLA at Hazelwood West is excited to invite the community to a fun-filled Family Game Night designed to foster connections and create lasting memories. Join on April 10 at Hazelwood West in the Commons from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for an evening packed with laughter and friendly competition. Enjoy a variety of activities, including classic board games, thrilling card games, a lively game of bingo and the timeless favorite, musical chairs. This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to come together, unwind and enjoy the spirit of camaraderie. FCCLA encourages the whole community to come together and enjoy the togetherness of one another over a classic board game.
“With the upcoming event, FCCLA hopes to bring the Hazelwood community together to enjoy a family-friendly game night. We decided on this event because we felt that Hazelwood’s community began to become fractured and we wanted to bring everyone together bonding experience for our district that was also family-friendly, our Inspiration is simply just being able to raise school and community spirit/morale as much as possible,” Secretary of FCCLA, Ryan Anderson, said.
